Acceptance of terms
These provisions set out the terms and conditions on which you may make use of the posttea.co.uk website (the “Site”). By using the site and/or order from us, you agree to be bound by these Customer Terms.

1. About us

The Site is operated by PostTea Ltd (“we”). We are registered in England and Wales as company number 8855158. Our registered address is 80 Meadrow, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 3HT. We are not currently VAT registered. Our registered business number with Companies House is 08385819.

2. Our contract

Your order constitutes your offer to us to buy the goods that you select when placing your order on the Site. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by us. We will send you an email acknowledging receipt of your order.

3. Acceptance of terms

User account registration, passwords and security 3.1 You have the option to open an account via the Site to place and refer to your order(s). When registering for a user account, you will select a password and user name that you can use to access your online account. 3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and user name, and are responsible for all activities that occur under them. We will not be liable should your password or user name be used by someone else (unless such use is due to our negligence). 3.3 You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your password or user name.

4. Age restrictions

By placing an order and/or registering an account with us, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you are not authorised to make a transaction or register an account with us. If you are not legally capable of entering into contracts, we are legally entitled to cancel any order(s) with you and will not be obliged to supply the goods.

5. Payment methods

5.1 Payment for purchases of goods and/or services you make through the Site may only be made by debit or credit card using our payment facility. 5.2 You accept that some banks may charge you an additional fee for certain transactions (for example, international transactions). 5.3 For destinations within the EU, tea is zero vatable, and none of our prices include VAT. For delivery destinations outside the EU, prices do not include VAT or other sales taxes.

6. Delivery

6.1 We will endeavour to dispatch your order as soon as possible after you place your order. Non-bespoke products will be dispatched within 5 working days of ordering. . 6.2 We cannot take responsibility for incorrect delivery addresses entered at the checkout. Any loss caused by incorrect addresses, financial or otherwise, will be your responsibility, unless the negligence is ours. 6.3 Orders are typically delivered by Royal Mail and are subject to the terms and conditions of these third parties. 6.4 Note further information and guidance provided in our Delivery & Returns policy.

7. Returns

7.1 Non-personalised items that do not contain perishable goods can be returned or exchanged within 14 days. TEA is classed as a PERISHABLE GOOD. Items should be well-packaged and returned in their original condition. 7.2 Perishable, personalised and bespoke items are non-refundable, unless damaged at the point of receipt or supplied with errors caused by our negligence. 7.3 Returns will only be processed following contact with our team via email, and emails must be received within 24 hours of receipt of your order. 7.4 Note further information and guidance provided in our Delivery & Returns policy.

The PostTea logo, name, web address and Site are registered trademarks in the United Kingdom and remain the property of PostTea Limited.
