Pumpkin Pie Chai

Autumn is nearly here, so it's time to stock the cupboards with one of our new seasonal blends, Pumpkin Pie Chai

Using our Aromatic Black Chai as a base, our Pumpkin Pie Chai is made with extra nutmeg, ginger, organic pumpkin pieces and natural pumpkin flavouring. Perfect brewed as a spicy cuppa, or slowly brewed with hot milk to make our signature Pumpkin Chai Latte, this tea is perfect for the cooler Autumn afternoons!

Malty black assam tea, cinnamon, aniseed, dried ginger, black peppercorns, cloves, chicory roots, cardamom seeds, cardamom pods, organic pumpkin pieces and natural pumpkin flavouring.
To brew as a normal cup of tea, use 3.5g per cup, and brew using filtered water, heated to around 95C. Brew for 3-3.5 minutes, then remove the tea leaves and enjoy with a little brown sugar to draw out the spicy flavours.
To make a Pumpkin Chai Latte, use the same amount of tea in a biodegradable tea filter. Gently heat around 300ml of milk in a saucepan with the tea and add a little brown sugar to the pan. Leave to heat gently for 10-20minutes, allowing the sugar to mke a thick, syrupy drink. Be careful not to burn or scald the milk.
